15+ Years in Electronics Repair

A repair shop built around diagnosing the problem correctly.

Benjamin's Computer Repair is a Massapequa repair shop for computers, laptops, Macs, phones, tablets, game consoles, and other electronics, from everyday repairs and upgrades to advanced motherboard work. The goal is not to sell the biggest repair. It is to determine what failed and give the customer the most sensible option.

Section 01 / Background

How I work

Electronics repair has been part of my life for more than 15 years. In that time I have worked on everything from cracked phone screens and slow computers to liquid-damaged laptops, no-power faults, custom PCs, and motherboard failures that require component-level diagnosis.

That range is important to how Benjamin's Computer Repair operates. A good repair shop should be able to handle the normal problem efficiently, recognise when a simple part replacement is the right answer, and also continue diagnosing when the failure goes deeper than the part most shops can replace.

For customers, that means one place for computer and phone repair, upgrades, data concerns, game-console work, and advanced board repair, with the diagnosis and options explained before work begins.

Section 02 / Approach

Repair at the right level

Most repairs are a replaceable part. Some are a circuit on the board. The bench is set up for both, so the work does not have to stop at whichever one it turns out to be.

01

Everyday repairs

Screens, batteries, keyboards, charging ports, Windows problems, storage, memory, cooling, and other common hardware issues.

02

Performance and upgrades

SSD, RAM, data migration, custom PC work, and practical improvements that extend a computer's useful life.

03

Advanced diagnostics

No power, intermittent failures, liquid damage, unstable systems, and faults that do not point cleanly to one replaceable part.

04

Motherboard repair

Component-level repair when a failed circuit, connector, trace, or chip makes a full board replacement unnecessary.
