Before you book
My laptop works, but it is very slow. Is it worth upgrading?
Often. An SSD or memory upgrade can make a large difference, but we check what is actually limiting the machine first so money is not spent on the wrong part.
I was told the motherboard needs replacement. Can you check it?
Yes. We can diagnose the board itself and determine whether the failed circuit or component can be repaired instead of replacing the whole board.
The charging cable only works at an angle. Can it wait?
It should be checked soon. A loose jack or port can continue damaging the solder joints or the board underneath as it moves.
Can you repair a broken hinge?
Yes. Hinge repairs are worth doing before the damaged mount begins pulling on the display cable or breaking the screen and case further.
