Terms of Service
These terms cover the use of this website and the information on it. The terms that govern an actual repair, including approvals, backups, parts, warranty, and liability, are set out separately in our Repair Terms.
Section 01
Agreement
This website is operated by Benjamin's Computer Repair LLC, 5500 Sunrise Hwy., Massapequa, NY 11758. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. Bringing a device to us for repair is also governed by our Repair Terms, which take precedence over these terms wherever the two overlap.
Section 02
What this website is
This site describes the repair services we offer and helps you get in touch or book a repair. It is informational. Nothing on it is a diagnosis of your device, a binding quote, or a promise that a particular repair is possible on a particular unit.
A real diagnosis requires the device in front of us, and a real price follows the diagnosis. That is the whole basis of how we work, and it is stated on the pricing page as well as here.
Section 03
Prices, turnaround, and availability
Prices shown on this site, including price ranges, are indicative and can change without notice. Parts pricing in particular moves with supply. Turnaround figures such as "most diagnostics are completed within 1 to 3 business days" are typical expectations based on normal workload, not guarantees, and they can be affected by parts availability, the complexity of the fault, and how many devices are on the bench.
Stock statements, including which phone screens and common parts are held, reflect general practice rather than a live inventory. Call or text with the exact model if you need stock confirmed before travelling to the shop.
Section 04
Accuracy of the content
We put real effort into keeping this site accurate, and we would rather remove a claim than overstate one. Even so, the site is provided as-is. We do not warrant that every description, price, specification, or symptom explanation is complete, current, or free of error, and we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of what is written here. If something on this site turns out to be wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
Section 05
Booking through this site
Our booking and repair status tools are provided by RepairShopr and appear inside our pages. Submitting the booking form creates a repair request and, where you select one, reserves an intake appointment.
An intake appointment reserves time for us to receive the device and take a first look at the problem. It is not a reservation of a repair-completion time, and it is not acceptance of a repair we have not yet seen. We may decline work that is outside what we can safely or sensibly do, and we will tell you why.
The information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Section 06
Contacting us by phone and text
Our published number accepts both calls and text messages. Sending us a text or leaving a voicemail does not by itself create a booking or oblige us to begin work. If you give us your mobile number in connection with a repair, we will send you service messages about it, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can stop those at any time by replying STOP.
Section 07
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems behind it, and do not use it to send unlawful or abusive content. We may restrict access where necessary to protect the site or other users.
Section 08
Our content
The text, photographs, layout, and the Benjamin's Computer Repair name and logo on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to any page here, quote a short passage with attribution, or print a page for your own reference. Please do not republish the site's content as your own or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with something we are not.
Brand names such as Apple, MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Samsung, Google, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the devices we repair. We are an independent repair shop and are not an authorised service provider for, affiliated with, or endorsed by any of them.
Section 09
Third-party links and embedded tools
This site links to and embeds services we do not control, including our RepairShopr booking and status tools. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of third-party services, and their own terms apply to your use of them.
Section 10
Limitation of liability for use of this site
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Benjamin's Computer Repair LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of business. This section is about the website. Liability relating to an actual repair is dealt with in the Repair Terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here removes rights you have under New York consumer protection law.
Section 11
Changes
We may update these terms as the business changes. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Section 12
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York.
