ASUS repair for everyday problems and advanced faults.
Slow performance, startup problems, broken screens, batteries, charging issues, keyboards, overheating, upgrades, or no power. We service ASUS computers from common hardware repairs through motherboard-level diagnosis when needed.

Section 02 / Diagnosis
Where ASUS laptops actually fail
A gaming laptop and an ultrabook fail for opposite reasons: one from heat and current, the other from density. Both are diagnosed the same way, in order.
Thermal path on ROG and TUF
Gaming machines run at sustained high draw, which cooks thermal compound and loads fans continuously. As the cooling path degrades the machine throttles, then shuts down under load. Temperatures are read while the machine is actually working, because at idle everything looks normal.
Power delivery under sustained load
Shutdowns that only happen during games or rendering are frequently the power stages on the board rather than heat. Distinguishing the two requires monitoring under real load, and the difference decides whether it is a service or a board repair.
Charging: barrel jacks and USB-C
Gaming models use high-wattage barrel jacks that take mechanical stress on their solder joints. ZenBooks charge over USB-C through a negotiation controller. Both are repairable components on the board.
Power rails
A dead ASUS is normally one shorted rail rather than a dead board. Rails are brought up and measured in sequence until the failed stage is found.

ASUS repairs we take on
Thermal service for gaming machines
Thermal compound replacement, fan and heatsink service, and airflow correction on machines that throttle or shut down under load. SVC-02Motherboard microsoldering
Shorted rails, failed power stages, lifted pads, and damaged traces rebuilt under a microscope. SVC-03DC jack and USB-C charging repair
Loose and snapped jacks replaced, plus the charging and power delivery circuitry behind them. SVC-04No power and no charge faults
Traced through the power sequence until the stage that stopped it is found. SVC-05Screen and display repair
Cracked panels, flickering displays, and the cables and connectors behind them. Diagnosed before ordering, since gaming panels are costly. SVC-06Liquid damage restoration
Cleaned before the corrosion spreads, then the traces and components it destroyed get rebuilt.Section 05 / Other makes

Section 06 / Questions
Before you book
My ROG shuts down when I game. Is it overheating or is something broken?
Both are possible and they need separating, because one is a service and the other is a board repair. It is diagnosed by running the machine under sustained load with temperature and power monitoring attached, so the actual cause is measured rather than assumed.
Is it worth servicing a gaming laptop that runs hot but still works?
Yes. Sustained heat is cumulative damage to the power stages and solder joints, not just lost performance. Replacing dried thermal compound and clearing the cooling path is a modest job compared with repairing what prolonged heat eventually breaks.
My ZenBook will not charge from any USB-C port.
That points at the power delivery controller on the board rather than the battery or the cable. When a machine refuses every charger on every port, the fault is upstream of the battery, and it is a component-level repair.
Can you replace a high refresh rate gaming screen?
Yes, but it is diagnosed first. Gaming panels are among the most expensive parts on any laptop, and a flickering display is often the cable or connector rather than the panel. Confirming that before ordering saves a great deal of money.
