HP repair for everyday problems and advanced faults.
Slow performance, startup problems, broken screens, batteries, charging issues, keyboards, overheating, upgrades, or no power. We service HP computers from common hardware repairs through motherboard-level diagnosis when needed.

Where HP laptops actually fail
HP spans budget Pavilions to business EliteBooks, but the failures concentrate in a small number of known places.
Hinge and case failure
HP hinges stiffen with age and then tear their mounting points out of the plastic around them. Once that starts, every open and close does more damage and pulls harder on the display cable inside. Caught early it is a hinge repair. Left alone it becomes a hinge, a case, a cable, and a screen.
Charging circuit
The jack takes the stress of every plug and unplug and the stress lands on its solder joints. Behind it sit the filtering components and the charging controller, all of which are repairable on the board.
Power rails
A dead HP is normally one shorted rail rather than a dead board. Rails are measured in sequence until the one holding the machine down is found.
Thermal path on gaming and thin models
Omen machines run hard and Spectre machines run thin, and both punish a blocked or dried-out cooling path. Temperatures are read under real load, not at idle where everything looks fine.

HP repairs we take on
Hinge, case, and display repair
Failed hinges, cracked mounting points, stretched display cables, and the panels that get damaged when a hinge is left too long. SVC-02DC jack and charging repair
Loose and snapped jacks replaced, along with the charging circuitry behind them. SVC-03No power and no charge faults
Traced through the power sequence until the stage that stopped it is found. SVC-04Motherboard microsoldering
Shorted rails, failed controllers, lifted pads, and damaged traces rebuilt under a microscope. SVC-05Liquid damage restoration
Cleaned before the corrosion spreads, then the traces and components it destroyed get rebuilt. SVC-06Thermal service and upgrades
Overheating, throttling, fan failures, and storage or memory upgrades on machines worth keeping.Section 05 / Other makes

Before you book
The corner of my HP is cracking open near the hinge. How urgent is it?
Urgent. This is the most common HP failure and it compounds with use. The hinge tears its mounting points out of the case and stretches the display cable a little more on every open and close. Repaired early it is a contained job. Left running, it takes the case, the cable, and often the screen with it.
It only charges when I hold the cable at an angle.
The jack has worked loose from its solder joints on the board. Every further plug and unplug tears those joints more, and once the damage spreads into the board underneath it becomes a considerably larger repair. This is worth booking quickly.
HP quoted me for a whole new motherboard. Is that the only fix?
It is the only fix a shop can offer if it does not repair at component level, since the board is the smallest part it swaps. A component-level diagnosis names the stage that failed, and repairing that stage is usually a fraction of a replacement board.
Do you work on Omen gaming laptops?
Yes. They draw hard and run hot, so thermal problems and power delivery faults show up more often. Both are diagnosed by running the machine under sustained load with monitoring attached rather than checking it at idle.
